The type of classes that i detest

Start with very common problems, no concentration, uncomfortable, moody and so on. As a students, we are likely to face all these when we are present in such class. Based on my experience, the factors of classes that mostly will affect the mood of my study was the style of teaching, the bad timing of study schedule and most important is the environment around.

Every different lecturer have their specific ways of teaching. I never denied for the good one's but attach importance on the more worrying side. Lecturer start to drive through the lesson while students are just about to understand the first sentence. Although i read the notes given before the class but lecture is very important to make me understand better. Despite students have no resistance yet lecturer shouldn't take for granted. What i found is, boring classes and the wrong method of teaching makes us skip the class. We as a students always suggest the best way to let ourselves comfortable but most of them consider it was a grumble. That is the the problem where students have no right to blame but learn to accept.

Secondly, there are troublesome for students when the time is either too late or ultra early. For me, the class that ranked in the early morning will cause me drown in the lecture hall. I may have late for school because of the wrong setting of alarm or dying rely on the bed. The not in the mood early in the morning will stole away my attention in the class, maybe that moment my cheek is on the table as well. Without a doubt, classes that place in the middle of night is also a killing students plan. Students that having the class up side down, such morning class and break till the night class, are wasting their time on rushing to school and home. Besides, they have waste the time for revising and completing their assignment. I would rather attend a class one-off in a very pack time than rushing the whole day.

In addition, the bad condition and worst environment of the class will definitely encourage me to hang myself up. I hate to study in a dirty and nasty classroom with all the rubbish scatter everywhere. Moreover, the brightness of the classroom is better to make one's regain consciousness, if the class is in a dim and dull condition, i will start dozing off. Sometimes, the classroom facilities can also be the reason why students lost their attention in there. Example, maybe the curtain is odd and have distribution of uncomfortable odor or the table is old enough to support our books. These problems are disturbing us from the middle of the lesson.

Lastly, there are still have many other type of classes that i have not discover. However, above was my own real life experience, i hope these problems can be solve as quickly as possible. So that, i have no more excuse of skipping classes. =)

How to stay awake during class?

Students love to sleep through lecture, they never do it purpose, but accidentally. As a student, i sleep too, not often but i guarantee its more than often. Student probably never want to go to bed earlier, they will stay up longer without even care about the morning class on the next day. These problem will affect student academic, so there is three ways to help student stay alert whenever they attend their class. There are, eat balance food, using natural methods and having a proper sleeping time.

Students should eat balanced food. Nowadays, students have a bad habit, they never eat breakfast before they go to school. They wake up late, and rush for time, they are too busy to prepare their own breakfast.When we skip breakfast we are likely to become tired because our brain had run low on fuel. By mid-morning, we might grab a cup of coffee to keep us alerted and energized. People said, we should eat breakfast like king, lunch like civilian dinner like beggar. I think that is a great suggestion. Other than that, i advise students to eat accordingly to the food pyramid,such as more fruits,cereal and less tit-bits,more healthier and will keep us feel fresh all the time.

Besides,the common solution we knew was caffeine usually keeps our mind conscious and think better. However,with excessive caffeine might cause effect on one's body. So, natural methods is much better in helping student. Exercise for a short period before we go to class, we will feel tired at first, but then energized us and keep us awake.Students are advised to exercise regularly. On the other hand, we also can make ourselves to be busy in that class, such participating ourselves in the discussion, take notes when teacher is teaching front or ask question whenever we feel the need of dozing off. Sometimes, students can also bring some music along whenever they are on the way to school, to clear their exhausted mind.By the way, these are some natural methods for students never take caffeine.

The most important things is students must have a proper sleeping time.Students have no much reason to stay up long in the night. We should get good night's sleep before the next day, better sleep between 10pm to 11pm. A good sleep must take at least 8 hours, so we must not abuse our time doing unnecessary things. It is not a bad things to rest your eyes,if you not do so, i am sure that your cheek is on the table during the lesson. The best way is taking a nap, 15 to 30 minutes will do, so that you feel refreshed when you get up. Remember to get enough sleep, start now, before you getting more and more miserable.

Last but not least, I think to stay awake in class have more others methods to overcome. Above was some suggestion from me.Lost attention in class might cause serious problem, so students should start doing their part if they don't want these to happen on them.

Affirmative University Life in MMU

From the day opening of university, it was on the date 7th of June. When i walked in, those huge buildings amazed me, although it looked odd, but perfect with the facility. I would like to share the changes of my life in here such my attitude, my new friends and my way of studies.


University life was totally different when compare to secondary life, we are usually informed by our teachers to update any stuff that are important and related to our academic. For now, every things changed, I started to be busy like mad. In here, we are freshies, we have to do many things just to suit ourselves in this situation. First, I was taking foundation in management, I have to buy all those books that is relevant. Sometimes, the book store had out of their stock, I have to visit there often. I drove to school, so I need to get a car sticker to let my car available in MMU parking site. Sometimes, the forms finished, and I need to come back the next day. What I want to emphasize here was, I start to be more alert and more independence.


I was grouped in PM 11, it was the group of my class. I am so lucky that I met my old high school friend in there, we are in the same class. First day of our lesson, I was late to English class, while I was finding the car park before that, so embarrassing. My lecturer, Miss Jasline was a nice and humourous person that her lesson will never be dull. Miss Jasline asked us to form a group with four person, in class, I knew only one person. So, we have to start knowing each other by introducing ourselves in front of the class. I met some crazy friends here, our crazy conversation makes us looks crazy too. We have foreigner and outstate friends, we can learn different language and improve our English.


Sometimes, I have been through a dreadful day, the hot sun fed up me, the traffic jam cause me late. I felt so tired when I reached the class, teacher start to lecture, my exhausted mind cannot absorb any of those. I start to worry about my study, I am slow enough to catch up the speed of my lecturer. To avoid from all these problems, I did myself a schedule, my own study plan. I studied the notes before the day, and listen to the lesson the next day, i found that i am able to followed the lesson. After the class, i went back did a lot of the exercise about the lecture on that day, and i understand more. The way of study is very easy, we just have to be hardworking that's all.

Last but not least, i found my life is full with meaningful things, as a student i study hard, as a daughter i work hard, as a friend i play hard ! Definitely, I enjoyed my life in MMU.
